MST was part of the Team awarded the I-90 at I-290/Congress Parkway(Jane Byrne Interchange) EB Mainline Racine to Congress Parkway, Cook County, Region One/District One Phase III project.
This project involves the improvement of I-90 at I-290/ Congress Parkway EB Mainline – Racine to Congress Parkway. The work for this project, includes but is not limited to, the construction of three new concrete retaining walls along I-290, EB mainline at Morgan, Peoria and Halsted Streets, the rehabilitation of two existing retaining walls and the removal and replacement of I-290 mainline eastbound pavement from Racine Street to Congress Parkway.

MST was part of the Team awarded the US 20 (Lake Street) at IL 59 (Sutton Road), Phase III project. This project is located in Cook County, Region One/District One.
Phase III engineering is required to provide construction inspection services for the roadway reconstruction of US 59 north of US 20. Works includes but not limited to the construction of a new north-bound IL 59 to east-bound US 20 ramp, modification and improvement to the existing ramp junctions and medians, construction of a shared use path and sidewalk, and construction of retaining and noise walls.

MST was awarded IDOT’s PTB 180-015 to provide Materials Project Manager for Various Materials Inspections (PCC, HMA & Aggregate) Region Three, District Four.
Phase III Engineering services are required for an Engineering Project Manager to manage and support various IDOT materials inspection processes throughout District Four. This work involves working directly with contractors, producers, supplier or local agencies and/or other consultants as needed. Materials acceptance responsibilities include sampling , testing and documentation of test results of various materials such as hot-mix asphalt (HMA), Portland cement concrete (PCC), aggregates, recycled asphalt pavement (RAP), recycled asphalt shingles (RAS), soils, pipe, precast and precast/prestressed concrete. Work for this project is expected to include plant and on-site inspections, sampling transportation of samples, testing at jobsite sand labs and documentation and data entry of test results.

Phase lll engineering services are required to perform quality assurance responsibilities of Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA), Portland cement concrete (PCC) construction, Aggregate Gradation Control System (AGCS), pipe and pre-cast producers and pre-stressed and pre-cast producers. Responsibilities include Independent Assurance sampling and testing for PCC at both plants and jobsites. Additional responsibilities also include quality assurance inspection of pre-stressed and pre-cast producers at both plants and jobsites.

MST was part of the team awarded the US 6 (159th Street) from Will-Cook Road to West of US 45 (S. LaGrange Road), Cook County project.
Phase lll engineering services are required to provide construction inspection services for the improvement of US 6 from Will Cook Road to West of US 45. This project includes the complete reconstruction and widening of the existing pavement, replacement of the drainage system and signage, the construction of a multi-use path and sidewalk on both sides of 159th St. and the replacement of four dry land bridges and two conventional bridges.

Illinois Department of Transportation (lDOT) Bulletin 165 #1
MST was part of the team awarded the Irving Park Road & Canadian Pacific Railroad Grade Separation project located at Irving Park Road and York Road in the Village of Bensenville.
This project includes pavement reconstruction and widening, improved intersection geometry, additional auxiliary lanes, drainage system improvements and signal modernization. The most significant component of the improvement includes lowering Irving Park Road and raising the Canadian Pacific Railroad Bridge to provide an improved vertical clearance. The structure is proposed as a 131 foot single span bridge with closed abutments. Also included in this project is the construction of retaining walls along the raised railroad alignment, culverts to convey the relocated Bensenville Ditch, a 72 inch storm sewer to improve drainage and provide detention and the addition of turning lanes at the intersection.
Illinois Department of Transportation (lDOT) Bulletin 167 #4
MST was part of the team awarded lDOT PTB#4 to perform construction inspection services for the improvement of US 12/45 (Mannheim Rd) IL 72 to I-190 (Kennedy Expressway).
The improvements include the reconstruction and widening of 7,678 feet of Mannheim Road, reconstruction of approximately 1,065 feet of Higgins Road and modernization and interconnection of two signalized intersections along Mannheim Road at Zemke Boulevard and Higgins Road.

Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Bulletin 163 #2
MST was part of the team awarded the Route IL 59–Ferry Road to Auora Road project.
The Route 59 expansion project will improve safety and traffic flow along the Route 59 corridor from Ferry Road to Aurora Road. The reconstruction involves widening Route 59 to three lanes in each direction, adding additional turn lanes and extending existing turn lanes along the three mile stretch. The project also includes the implementation of an innovative diverging diamond configuration on the bridge over interstate 88 that will also enhance safety and traffic flow.
